TKATUF GULF EXHIBTION 5th edition

ID: 59

By: Hujaija Trading EST

The TKATUF GCC Exhibitions are organized under the supervision and leadership of Her Highness Sayyida Hujaija bint Jaifer Al Said, Founder of Links for Social Initiatives. Her direct oversight and strategic vision have firmly established the exhibition as a trusted economic platform recognized by government leaders, senior officials, and members of the Royal Family. The events received extensive media coverage across Oman and the wider GCC. Guided by this vision, the TKATUF GCC Exhibitions were created as a modern economic model that supports the sustainability of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The exhibitions enable entrepreneurs to generate substantial direct sales twice a year through highly organized events - free from the long-term operational burdens of retail leases, staffing requirements, and high fixed overheads. These cost pressures are among the primary factors that cause many small businesses to falter within their first two years, making the TKATUF model a practical and sustainable alternative. In an era where online shopping has rapidly become the primary purchasing method, the TKATUF GCC Exhibitions serve as a vital bridge between physical presence and digital sales. These exhibitions allow participants to showcase their products directly, build consumer trust, and receive immediate feedback that helps them improve product quality, strengthen their digital presence, and increase online sales after the Exhibition. The exhibitions are also distinguished by the diversity of participating sectors, tailored to Gulf market preferences and seasonal demand. Product categories include: Ramadan and Eid clothing, perfumes and incense, luxury fragrance products, menswear, jewelry and accessories, abayas, hair and skincare products, Islamic clothing, high-end Middle Eastern clothing, traditional Omani attire, bridal clothes and accessories. This diversity attracts a wide range of visitors, increases purchasing activity, and delivers strong commercial value for participants. It also provides a smart marketing environment that reduces costs and maximizes returns, making the TKATUF GCC Exhibition a genuine economic sustainability tool that combines a strong reputation, low cost, and high profitability. TKATUF GCC Exhibitions is the consistent support from government leaders, alongside backing from private sector institutions. This gives the exhibition significant weight and credibility, turning sponsorship into a high-value institutional and promotional partnership. More than 150 Omani businesses with registered brands participated in each edition the TKATUF GCC Exhibitions, in addition to enterprises from various GCC countries. The TKATUF GCC Exhibitions adopt an integrated developmental model that extends beyond the exhibition period, supporting the longterm sustainability of participating SMEs. Available resources are directed toward organizing free workshops and training programs in marketing, business management, and innovation. Active Advertising Campaigns to Attract Consumers Extensive advertising campaigns were executed to help SMEs reach new and wider audiences. More than 30 billboards were placed across Muscat, sponsor logos were displayed on 20 digital screens at Shell fuel stations, and the event received media coverage from the Oman News Agency, local newspapers, and Oman TV. Enhancing Brand Awareness Through media coverage and direct engagement with the public, awareness of the organization and its products increases significantly. Access to Support and Funding Opportunities The presence of sponsors and supporting entities opened doors for future financial or advisory support. Involving students from Oman Tourism College Students from Oman Tourism College were involved in the on-ground organization of the exhibitions. Students receive a lump-sum incentive for their participation while gaining direct, hands-on experience in event management, visitor and participant engagement, and logistical oversight. This prepares them for the job market and strengthens the link between academic learning and practical application. Stimulating Growth and Expansion Many participants started with simple home-based projects and, through repeated participation in these exhibitions, gradually evolved their businesses into full retail outlets or formally registered entities. Strengthening Digital Presence The exhibitions help entrepreneurs build a strong presence on social media platforms by generating live content from the event and enabling active audience interaction.
